I’d like to share with you the song, “The Road,” and why I wrote it.
Have you’ve ever wondered what the Bible says about God’s plan of salvation? That is why I wrote this song.
“The Road” is inspired by the Romans Road—a series of Bible verses in the Book of Romans that explains how God offers forgiveness and eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us that every one of us has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. Left on our own, we’re all traveling the wrong road. But because God loves us so much, He sent Jesus to die for our sins and rise again so that everyone who believes in Him can receive forgiveness and the gift of eternal life.
When I wrote this song, my goal was simple. I wanted to take that incredible message of hope and put it into music that would be easy to remember and meaningful to listen to. My prayer is that these words encourage you in your faith, and if you’re still searching for answers, that they help you discover the hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
